در دورهی آموزشی «مبانی علوم اعصاب شناختی» که بر مبنای کتاب (مبانی علوم اعصاب شناختی) تألیف برنارد بارس و نیکول گیج برگزار شده است. سعی شده در کنار بررسی مهمترین عملکردهای عالی شناختی مغز مانند توجه، هشیاری و ...، نگاهی کاربردی و عملی نیز وجود داشته باشد. ویراست اول این کتاب که توسط دکتر حامد اختیاری تدریس گردیده و توسط وبسایت مکتبخونه منتشر گردیده بود، مورد توجه دانشجویان و علاقمندان به این حوزه قرار گرفت. با توجه به ویراست جدید این کتاب، دورهی آموزشی مبانی علوم اعصاب شناختی به زبان انگلیسی در طی پاییز سال 99 و با حضور بیش از یکصد دانشجو از بیش از 20 کشور مختلف جهان برگزار گردید.
